Is a VMCAS application required?
Applicants submitting the Supplemental Application are required to also submit a completed application through the Veterinary Medicine College Application Service (VMCAS). It is the applicant’s responsibility to complete their applications correctly, to monitor the status of their applications, to ensure all required documents are received and posted to their applications, and to adhere to the requirements posted by their veterinary programs.
 
Is there an application fee?
The Supplemental Application fee ($100) may be paid via credit card following instructions provided with successful completion of their Supplemental Application. Or applicants may mail a check payable to “University of Missouri” to:

What letters of recommendation (eLOR) are required?
eLOR is a mandatory section of your VMCAS Web application. You may register a maximum of six evaluators in the eLOR system. Three evaluations are required for your VMCAS application to be considered complete and to be considered by the admissions committee. One of the three received eLOR’s must be from a Veterinarian you have spent time with. As an extra precaution, it is recommended that you request more than the the three required. Composite letters and letters from relatives by birth or marriage are not accepted at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
 
How do I have GRE scores reported to MU?
Each student must submit scores from the General Record Examination (GRE) test and have results sent to VMCAS by September 15, 2017 To ensure scores are properly sent to VMCAS use code 7268. Only test scores attained within the last three years will be used in calculating academic evaluations. (No scores attained prior to December 31, 2014 will be accepted).
 
How can I get to Columbia if I am contacted for an interview?
Columbia Missouri has an airport (click here for their website) with limited flights in and out. Taxi’s are available with a fifteen minute ride. More frequently used are the St. Louis or Kansas City Airports with about a two hour commute from either. Both airports have rental car options available and shuttle service from/to either airport is available from MO-X (click for their website).
